Aleeya began her legal career in dispute resolution before progressing to senior roles at boutique and established law firms, gaining extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation.

She subsequently joined IKC as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Partner in the Dispute Resolution Team, the Firm’s largest practice group. Aleeya also leads the Junior Training and Development Committee, where she mentors and develops the Firm’s junior lawyers and trainees.

Aleeya has substantial experience in Real Estate Development and Strata Management disputes, advising and representing developers, management corporations, and property owners in matters involving land disputes, strata management issues, contractual claims, and construction-related conflicts. She has also handled cases concerning negligence and disputes arising from property acquisitions and developments.

Aleeya has acted for international protection and indemnity clubs in shipping and maritime disputes and has appeared as counsel at all levels of Malaysian courts, including the Court of Appeal and Federal Court, as well as in arbitration and adjudication proceedings.

In addition, Aleeya is proficient in drafting and reviewing business agreements, offering practical solutions to meet her clients’ needs.
