Career

Patricia began her legal career in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group at a prominent Malaysian Law Firm. Before joining IKC, she was a Senior Associate at the same Boutique Firm where Sze Jia practised.

Patricia is now a Partner in IKC’s Dispute Resolution Team, the Firm’s largest practice group, and oversees Human Resource. She also leads the ASEAN Businesses and Enterprises Desk, advising clients on regional matters.

Patricia is experienced in Digital Innovation and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), advising on AI-related legal issues, delivering talks on emerging technologies, and ensuring compliance with the evolving legal landscape.

In employment and industrial relations, she provides guidance on compliance, employee misconduct, poor performance, and termination. She also represents both private and government-linked companies in unfair dismissal claims.

Patricia also focuses on data privacy, helping clients draft policies, manage cross-border data transfers, and address data breach compliance under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Her practice extends to general litigation and dispute resolution, including adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment & Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA), for diverse projects across Malaysia.

Patricia is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Malaya.
