Position

Nnamdi Oragwu is the partner in-charge of Corporate/Commercial practice. His area of specialization includes litigation in commercial law, maritime law, real and intellectual property law matters. He has argued matters at the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. He has also researched, prepared opinions and processes for actions pending before courts within and outside Nigeria. He acted as part of the team of lawyers representing a leading US pharmaceutical company in series of law suits instituted against them in Nigeria on the basis of multiple claims based on tort. Also he provided advisory opinions on Nigerian law to a multinational oil company in proceedings in the United States of America arising from the Alien Torts Act. He has acquired great competence in advocacy and litigation practice.
