Career

Andreas Haviaras is the managing partner of the firm and one of the founders of the firm. He is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the University of Athens and of the University College London. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 1977 and ever since he is a practicing advocate. Andreas Haviaras was the senior partner in one of the largest firms in Cyprus until February 2008 when he left and created along with the other members of this firm the law firm “Haviaras & Philippou LLC.

He is a Member of the Permanent Advisory Committee for Offshore Companies and Tax Planning of the Cyprus Bar AssociationMember of the Permanent Committee for the Revision of Legislation of the Cyprus Bar Association.Member of the Permanent Committee for the Rules of Etiquette of the Cyprus Bar Association.President of the Committee for updating the Civil Procedure Rules used by the Cyprus Courts.
