Education

Thomas studied law at Georgia-Augusta-University in Göttingen and qualified 1984. A legal doctorate followed and in 1985 he started as legal trainee in Hamburg. Part of this trainee program was an internship at an international marine law firm in Sydney. Thomas qualified as lawyer in December 1988.
