Career

Taha is a vital member of the dispute resolution team at Galadari and brings with him a wealth of experience advising clients on UAE legislation, human rights, equal opportunity and rental disputes, achieving favorable outcomes in both the tribunal and court. He is specialised in all criminal matters, having worked on complex cases involving embezzlement and appropriation, requisition of public money and all criminal cases relating to banks. A prominent case of Taha’s was the successful acquittal of his client in an accusation by an Islamic bank of embezzling AED 2,200,000,000.  He is also specialised in customs evasion/elusion and recently handled a case filed by Dubai Customs regarding customs avoidance to the amount of AED 550 million.

Prior to joining Galadari, Taha worked as an advocate in the appeals court, Cairo, where he gained considerable experience in many practice areas including civil and commercial law, criminal law, litigation, execution and rent disputes.

Taha is a graduate from Cairo University in Egypt and is fluent in Arabic.
