Another positive step in making Dubai a safe place to do business.
Ten banks and financial institutions have formed strategic partnerships with the General Department of Dubai Police to combat financial and economic crimes and improve security. The MoUs signed between the parties aim to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience in areas of mutual interest and promote joint efforts to investigate and anticipate economic crimes.
Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department, emphasised Dubai Police seek to proactively develop preventive measures and enhance security control systems to meet the challenges posed by the global economic and technological landscape. The partnerships reflect Dubai Police’s commitment to working closely with internal and external partners to make Dubai the safest city in the world, especially considering the increasing use of technology in both personal and professional settings, which has made economic crimes more complex and challenging to detect.
