Anders Bäckman is a Swedish attorney-at-law (advokat) and a partner based in the Stockholm office. He practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and joint ventures with experience in a wide variety of domestic and international corporate transactions. Anders is experienced in the field of corporate governance which has led to him serving as board director and board secretary in various companies.

the Swedish part of a $1 billion sale and world-wide reorganization of companies in the water industry; a leading US company in the water purification industry in the acquisition of a Swedish company; a world-leading UK-based listed mining company in a $107 million divestiture of a Swedish subsidiary; a leading US company in acquisitions/joint ventures in the Swedish sports and entertainment industry; transactions in other industries (e.g. pulp, hotel, pharmaceuticals, aviation, automotive, software, broadband, credit card, banking, and asset management); lenders and borrowers in various loan transactions.

He has arranged seminars and authored articles on domestic and international corporate governance matters for the International Chamber of Commerce (UK).
