Dean joined Shekel & Co. in 2010, and is an expert in all aspects of taxation, including income tax, corporate tax, VAT, and energy taxation.

Dean has unique expertise in the field of natural resource taxation and the fiscal tools applicable to operations in this sector, including levies and royalties. In addition to his legal training, Dean has a background in accounting and business administration. 

In his practice, Dean represents the firm’s clients, which include prominent entities in the Israeli economy as well as private individuals, in legal proceedings facing the tax authorities, both in court and in negotiations with the authorities.

Dean also writes opinions on complex tax issues, provides tax counseling and tax planning, advises and guides clients through large-scale transactions and in pre-ruling proceedings. Additionally, Dean is periodically involved in legislative proceedings related to taxation.
