Senior Partner

Binyamin joined Shekel & Co. in 2008, and specializes in all aspects of taxation. In addition to his legal training, Binyamin has a background in accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Binyamin guides a diverse range of clients, Israelis and foreigners alike, in their business ventures in Israel and abroad. He is involved in complex tax planning for multinational corporations and individuals, conducts negotiations with the Israel Tax Authority, prepares opinions on intricate tax issues, assists clients in obtaining pre-rulings, drafts agreements, and represents clients in assessment hearings with the Israel Tax Authority and in court.

Binyamin has extensive knowledge and experience in advising clients on the tax implications of their investments, mergers and acquisitions, taxation of stock options and trusts, residency and relocation issues, as well as public-private partnerships (P.P.P.), build-operate-transfer (B.O.T.) projects, and private finance initiatives (P.F.I.).

Binyamin has served in the past as Chairman of the International Taxation Committee at the Israel Bar Association.
