Career
Co-founder and senior partner of Teynier Pic, Eric Teynier is a recognized expert in international arbitration (both commercial and investment arbitration), as well as in commercial litigation.
Before founding this company, he practiced in some of the most highly reputed law firms on the Paris marketplace. His experience of domestic and international litigation and arbitration has seen him represent the interests of clients both in the French courts (Tribunaux de Grande Instance (district courts), Tribunaux de Commerce (commercial courts) and Cours d’Appel (appeal courts)) and in major international arbitration proceedings, whether in permanent institutional bodies (ICC, ICSID, AAA, AFA and OHADA) or in ad hoc tribunals (in particular in application of the UNCITRAL arbitration rules). The main domains handled personally by Mr. Teynier are general business law and international law, in particular investment issues. Eric Teynier is also regularly appointed to the role of arbitrator, or chair of the arbitration tribunal, in institutional arbitration proceedings (ICC, CRCICA and the CCJA attached to OHADA).
