Career

A seasoned intellectual property litigator, Mr. Neubauer has built up an extra-ordinary wealth of domestic and cross-border IP litigation experience. His breadth of IP and industry experience continues to make him a first port of call for multinational and Israeli companies in the pharmaceutical, hi-tech, life sciences, telecommunications and consumer products industries.

With a comprehensive grasp of science and technology, he has successfully litigated a wide range of IP cases, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, know-how and copyrights, both in civil actions before the courts as well as in opposition proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office. He also provided legal consultation in Patent Post-Issuance proceedings conducted by the U.S Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Neubauer also heads the Trademark and Design Department at the Ehrlich Group, which is responsible for the filing and prosecution of Trademarks and Design applications by the Group. Mr. Neubauer has extensive experience in prosecuting Trademark and Design applications and handling Trademark and Design portfolios throughout the world. In addition, Mr. Neubauer provides legal consultation in the business and legal strategies relating to the process of naming and branding.

In addition to legal settlements, Mr. Neubauer regularly drafts and negotiates contracts, and routinely advises clients in relation to their IP protection and enforcement strategy, risk evaluation, Open Source matters, investment due diligence and product clearance.

In 2017 Mr. Neubauer joined the Ehrlich Group as one of the founders of Ehrlich, Neubauer & Melzer (EN&M), a boutique IP law firm, to meet the legal needs of the clients of the Group in the field of intellectual property.Mr. Neubauer is commended for his abilities in patent litigation in the IAM Patent 1000 Israel 2018 ranking. He is also commended for his abilities in Trademark enforcement and litigation in the WTR1000 Israel 2018 ranking.
