Career
John is a partner in the real estate finance team with over 15 years of experience acting for lenders on all aspects of real estate finance. John’s clients include merchant banks and specialised lenders who are involved in lending monies secured against property, for both investment and development transactions.
As a true ‘lender’s lawyer’, John also acts on real estate work-out and restructuring for distressed loans secured against property. This includes acting for lenders where a refinance solution is possible and if not, acting for appointed receivers and administrators on post-appointment management issues, exit strategies and subsequent disposals.
