Position

Philip is senior partner of the firm and head of the firm’s construction department.  He deals with contentious and non-contentious construction law matters for banks, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and professional consultants.

Career

Philip has been involved in the construction industry since leaving school, approximately 40 years ago.

He specialises in contentious and non-contentious construction work. His clients include developers, banks, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors and private individuals.

He has been involved in a number of high-profile building projects including the Emirates Stadium London and the extension of the Excel Centre Docklands.

He is a dual qualified quantity surveyor (MRICS) and solicitor and was the winner of the Society of Construction Law Millennium Hudson Prize.

He regularly speaks at conferences on construction related topics. He is well-known as an experienced construction industry adjudicator.
