Career

Partner at SPS Law Firm since 2002. From the very beginning he develops his activity in the area of civil litigation and real estate, leading the respective cores.

Within the scope of his activity, he has supported several civil lawsuits of high value and complexity, both under Banking and Financial Law, and Civil Law, particularly those concerning breach of contract, civil liability, and real property rights.

He is responsible for providing legal advisory services to the legal departments at two banks, a real estate investment fund management company, and the largest Portuguese hotel group.

The loyalty and satisfaction of the clients under his care are a testament to his experience managing his team of lawyers, and to his experience and proactivity in advisory roles and in the civil litigation sector.

He is frequently invited by the clients under his care to impart his knowledge in these fields, particularly on civil procedure and insolvency.

His main areas of practice are Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Litigation,  NPL – Non-Performing Loans and REOs.

Holding a Law Degree from the Universidade Internacional [International University], completed in July 1993, he later completed several specialization courses, namely a post-graduate degree in Legal Consulting at Instituto Superior de Gestão [Business & Economics School], a Commercial and Civil Mediation course held by the Lisbon Commercial Association – International Chamber of Commerce, Mini MBA in Public Procurement  from IIR Portugal;  a Management MMBA at INDEG – ISCTE in Lisbon (2006), and a specialized Real Estate Management programme held by ISEG [Lisbon School of Economics & Management] and a Post-graduate studies in Real Estate from the Catholic University of Lisbon Law School (2019).
