Alcina is a TMT (technologies, media and telecommunications) Senior Associate at CCA LAW FIRM, collaborating with said Firm since 2013. She mainly focuses on online gambling and betting, advertising, consumption, energy and public tenders.

Alcina started practicing gaming law in 2015 when the online gambling market became licensed in Portugal. Alcina often writes articles relating to gaming such as the Portuguese chapter for ICLG on Gambling (2023 edition) and the Portuguese section for The Gambling law Review (2021 edition), and frequently attends events relating to gaming law, occasionally as a speaker.
