Nejan Duman is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, contracts and corporate law, and assists both multinational and local companies as well as leading private equity firms on their merger and acquisition transactions, as well as in connection with their corporate law-related matters. Nejan’s domestic and cross-border M&A experience includes a wide range of deal-types, involving joint ventures and private companies active in different sectors, including media and entertainment, healthcare, energy, packaging, food, automotive, chemicals, manufacturing, technology and insurance.
She advises leading companies, such as Vitol, BluTv, Vinmar Group, Turkven Private Equity, Mediterra Capital, team.blue, Glencore, Talanx Group, HDI Insurance, Hedef Filo, Tavuk Dünyası, R Vent Medikal and Beijing Sanyuan Foods Co. Ltd..
In recent years, Nejan advised Turkven, one of Turkey's leading private equity funds, on the acquisition of Karbonsan, one of the top 10 cryogenic tank manufacturers in the EMEA region; R Vent Medikal, a sector-leading healthcare medical device company based in Izmir, and its shareholders on the sale of R Vent Medikal to Plastiflex Group NV, a leading company engaged in the production of tubing systems and components for medical and industrial applications; BluTV, Turkey’s first SVOD platform, and its shareholders on the sale and transfer of a majority stake in BluTV to the Turkish subsidiary of Discovery, a global media giant based in the USA; team.blue on several acquisitions of Turkey’s outstanding hosting and domain name registration service providers; HDI Sigorta, one of Turkey's leading insurance companies and a Talanx AG subsidiary, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat, a prominent life insurance and pension company in Turkey and Mediterra Capital, one of Turkey’s prominent private equity firms, on its acquisition of PayCore, a company engaged in payment services.

Nejan Duman joined Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı in 2015. She became one of the Firm’s managing associates in 2025.
