İpek Yüksel provides legal advice to both domestic and international clients from start-ups to well established industry leaders acting in a wide range of sectors, including, energy, port operations, chemicals, insurance, technology and fintech on numerous M&A transactions, corporate governance and compliance matters, and corporate law-related matters. Her experience includes advising both buy-side and sell-side on M&A transactions, as well as on private equity investments and regulatory matters related to transactional work, with a particular focus on cross-border matters.
She has been advising leading companies, such as Vitol, Petrol Ofisi, Turkven Private Equity, Mediterra Capital, QTerminals, Abu Dhabi Ports Company PJSC, Arkel Elektrik, Southeast Europe Equity Fund II, LP, Logo Software, BMS Group, ORIX Corporation, Huntsman, Altınyıldız and EVS.

In recent years, İpek advised Vitol, one of the world’s largest energy companies, and Petrol Ofisi in connection with the acquisition of BP’s Turkish downstream fuel operations; the shareholders of EVS, a company focusing on electronical charging solutions, on the sale and transfer of EVS to a venture capital investment fund managed by Rota Portföy; and Arkel Elektrik, a designer and manufacturer of electronic components for lifts in connection with the sale of Arkel Elektrik to Innovalift AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Investment AB Latour, a leading Swedish investment company.

İpek Yüksel joined Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı in 2018. She became one of the Firm’s managing associates in 2025. She is a co-author of “The Acquisition and Leveraged Finance Review,” Chapter Turkey, the Law Reviews (2018-2019) and a contributing author of “Commercial Agency, Exclusive Distribution Agreements and Franchising Agreements Under Turkish Law,” International Agency and Distribution Agreements, Kluwer Law International (2016).
