Michalis was born in Limassol, Cyprus on 14 December 1980.

He was admitted as Advocate of the Supreme Court of Cyprus in 2006.

He studied Law at Athens University, Law School (2000 - 2004) and graduated with an LL.B Merit degree.

He obtained an LL.M degree in International Business Law at London University, University College London with Merit.

He also obtained a Master 2 Professional in International Commercial Law at University of Paris 1, Pantheon - Sorbonne with grade Bien (equivalent to 2:1).

He is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and Limassol Bar Association since 2006.

His professional interests focus on company law, banking and finance law, business and commercial law (both local and international), competition law, dispute resolution, arbitration, international tax law.

Michalis has considerable experience on corporate and finance transactions, re-organizations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate insolvency, advising banks and corporate clients on a number of issues including preparation and negotiation of legal documentation. His experience includes acting as Cyprus counsel to leading international financial institutions.
