Matteo Bascelli is a partner in the banking and financial law and business crisis management department of LMS since 2019, having gained previous professional experience at some of the most prestigious Italian and international law firms (Carnelutti law firm 1995-1998; Vita law firm Samory Fabbrini e Associati 1999-2008; Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe 2009-2011; CBA Law and Tax Firm 2011-2019). Thanks to twenty years of training in the field of banking law and in-depth knowledge of the law of the corporate crisis, Matteo regularly provides professional assistance to banks and financial intermediaries in debt restructuring operations hosted in the context of the well-known instruments for the composition of the corporate crisis, as well as in insolvency procedures with particular regard to those that provide financial assistance to support business continuity for the purpose of concrete turnarounds. Matteo also assists the main Italian banks, as well as the investors, on an ongoing basis in the various types of transactions aimed at the destocking of the NPE. Matteo is the author of numerous publications in specialized sector magazines, as well as speaker at conferences and seminars.
