Career

Rebecca Fisher is a partner in the firm's Technology and Intellectual Property Group. She represents a wide range of clients in a variety of technology-related transactions, often involving the commercialization of intellectual property, and advises them on their ongoing commercial needs as they arise in the areas of intellectual property, information technology, open source and privacy. Rebecca has experience across various industries, and particularly enjoys working with life sciences and biotech clients on licensing, collaboration, trial and research and development agreements involving innovative healthcare and biomed solutions. Her expertise also includes counselling on open source software and intellectual property issues in M&A and financing transactions.

Prior to joining Meitar, Rebecca qualified as an English lawyer and worked for several years in London in the Technology and Outsourcing Group of Fieldfisher, where she advised clients on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including working on a number of extremely large technology transactions and government procurements.
