Position

Tuvia Geffen is head of the international capital markets practice at Naschitz Brandes Amir and a senior member of the firm’s M&A practice.  Additionally, he holds a position within the firm’s Executive Committee.

Tuvia is recognized annually as a market leader in Capital Markets and M&A by Chambers Global (2013-2023), IFLR1000 (2013-2022 and 30th Edition), and The Legal 500 (2013-2022). He is also consistently listed in Who’s Who Legal: Capital Markets (2017-2022).

His practice focuses on capital markets, M&A, financial institutions, and private equity. Tuvia has extensive experience in cross-border M&A and equity and debt capital markets transactions. He represents issuers, underwriters, global investment banks, SPACs, and selling shareholders. His clients range from multinational corporations operating in or investing in Israel to Israeli companies with global activities and international capital market presence, as well as global banks and financial institutions.

Tuvia provides ongoing corporate and securities advice to various Israeli public companies traded on NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, including Check Point, Wix, Tremor International, Innoviz Technologies, Gilat Satellite, Caesarstone, Sivota, and Senstar Technologies.

Before joining the firm, Tuvia worked as a capital markets and M&A lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York for eight years. He obtained his LL.M. degree from the University of Chicago Law School and also clerked at the Jerusalem District Court with Justice A. Procaccia.
