Position

Eli Wilchek, head of Planning & Zoning practice and a member of the firm's executive committee, is a prominent attorney in Israel specializing in planning and zoning law and the municipal field (local authorities). He represents major institutions and leading businesses in these areas and serves as legal counsel for several local committees and authorities.

Adv. Wilchek also regularly provides comprehensive legal advice and services to municipalities, planning committees, public bodies, contractors, real estate developers, and private individuals on matters related to zoning approvals, property development, public procurement, and more.

Adv. Wilchek interned with Justice Menachem Alon of the Supreme Court of Israel and later for Justice Michael Cheshin. After four years at Naschitz Brandes Amir, he was appointed legal counsel to the Netanya Municipality, a role he held for three and a half years until establishing Cohen, Wilchek & Co. Other roles include approximately four years as legal counsel to the Southern District Planning & Building Committee and two and a half years as legal counsel to the Tel Aviv District Committee.

Adv. Wilchek joined the firm in 2024, following the merger between Cohen, Wilchek & Co. and Naschitz Brandes Amir.
