Dr. Oleksiy Feliv is a recognized legal practitioner with over 20 years of experience in consulting mainly foreign business in Ukraine. His primary focus has been on large-scale projects in the energy sector, particularly in renewables. He offers complex legal support to international and local clients on the implementation of projects financed by international financing institutions, investment funds and private equity. Dr. Feliv also specializes in real estate and construction and related project financing.

Among his clients are big international companies, investment funds, developers, international banks, industrial manufacturers, construction companies, energy companies as well as alternative energy developers and logistics operators. Having a distinctive business-oriented approach, Oleksiy has been serving as a board member of international investment companies in Ukraine, including those in the energy sector. Dr. Feliv is an active contributor to policy development in the areas of energy, land issues and construction in Ukraine.

Education

Oleksiy Feliv has obtained Master`s degree in law with merits at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2003) and successfully completed LL.M at The University of Münster, Germany (2005). Thereafter, he obtained a doctorate degree at the University of Regensburg, Germany and was qualified as a Doctor of Law (2007). His PhD thesis focused on financing by secured mortgage under German and Ukrainian laws.
