Career

Marek advises on new technologies law, privacy protection law, as well as telecommunications law. He supports clients in both day-to-day operations and projects of strategic importance - major disputes or significant ICT infrastructure projects.

For nearly 30 years, he has advised international corporations and Polish companies, particularly in regulated sectors.

Marek has extensive experience in court and administrative proceedings. He provides strategic advice in disputes and represents clients before courts and administrative authorities. He oversees the work of the team assisting air carriers in proceedings before courts and the President of the Polish Civil Aviation Authority, particularly in cases involving passenger claims. He coordinates advice for airlines also in other matters related to their operation in the Polish market.

For almost a decade, he held managerial positions in the legal department (including the position of the head of the legal department) of one of the leading telecommunications operators in the Polish market.

His client portfolio also includes leading companies from the manufacturing sector – for many of which he has worked for several decades, supporting their business development and representing them in disputes involving, i.a., acts of unfair competition, including in proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Memberships

Marek represents the law firm in Ecomlex – an international association of leading lawyers with expertise in new technologies, AI, and privacy protection.

Education

He is a 1994 graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University. He was admitted to the practice of law as a legal advisor in 1999.
