Position

Adv. Gal Rozent is a partner and head of Barnea Jaffa Lande's Antitrust and Competition Department.

Gal represents the firm's clients before the Director-General of Competition (formerly the Director-General of Antitrust), the Israeli Competition Tribunal, and the various courts (criminal, civil, and administrative), in competition law proceedings and in proceedings that involve other areas of law. He also represents the firm's clients in regulatory and legislative proceedings, including before relevant Knesset committees and government ministries.

Gal advises leading global and local companies operating in all areas of industry, as well as to public institutions, and collaborates with top foreign law firms as an integral part of this counsel.

Gal advises the firm's clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, concentration groups, monopolies, restrictive arrangements, administrative inquiries and criminal investigations executed by the Competition Authority, administrative and criminal hearings, the implementation of internal compliance programs, and more. He also advises and represents clients on other laws that concern, or adjacent to, the field of competition, including the Anti-Concentration Law, the Food Law, trade levies, and more.

In addition, Gal lectures on antitrust and competition in various forums.

Gal has over 20 years of rich professional experience in the field. During this period, Gal served as head of the Israel Competition Authority’s legal team in the communications, high-tech, and traditional industry sectors; headed the antitrust and competition departments of Herzog Fox & Neeman and Eshel Ashlagi Rozent; and in recent years founded and managed the boutique firm Gal Rozent, Law Offices.
