Dr Wecker is frequently involved in M&A transactions, joint ventures and venture capital investments. With regard to stock corporation and capital market law the main responsibilities of Dr Wecker include guidance and assistance during corporate equity transactions, ongoing advice of members of the management and supervisory board and preparation and support of general shareholders' meetings.

Dr Gregor Wecker studied law at the University of Cologne and Lausanne (Switzerland) and spent an elective assignment at Andersen Legal in 2000/2001, Luther's former partner law firm in Sydney (Australia) before he joined Luther (or its respective predecessor) in 2001. Dr Wecker is assistant lecturer for capital markets law at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and Co-Editor of the book "Compliance in the practical experience of entrepreneurs".
