Position

As a lawyer and a notary, Stefan Galla respectively advises and provides legal services to medium-sized businesses, large groups and financial investors in all matters pertaining to corporate law. The focus of his advice is on national and international restructurings, including all associated corporate law issues, and on corporate acquisitions and international joint ventures.

Career

Stefan Galla studied law in Bonn, Germany, completing his accelerated degree program in 1999. His legal training included working for a business law firm in London, England. He passed his second state bar examination in 2002 and subsequently received his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Marcus Lutter at the Centre for European Economic Law at the University of Bonn. In 2008, Stefan Galla worked for Pinsent Masons LLP in Leeds and London, England as part of a secondment. He has been a partner and civil-law notary since 2010. Stefan Galla joined Luther’s predecessor firm in 2004. Dr Stefan Galla directs the Dutch Desk and the Essen office and is a lecturer teaching company law as part of the “RUBlaw-active” course at Ruhr University in Bochum (Germany).
