Position

Katharina Klenk-Wernitzki advises and represents national and international clients in all matters of civil litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

Katharina Klenk-Wernitzki specializes in complex national and transnational disputes, international civil procedure law and international enforcement. She has particular expertise in the resolution of German-Chinese disputes.

Another focus of Katharina Klenk-Wernitzki's practice is the coordination of mass claims. She has many years of extensive experience in the development of customized legal-tech solutions.

Career

Katharina Klenk-Wernitzki completed a double degree in Law and Regional Studies East Asia/China after spending her student years in Cologne and Beijing. She specialised in Chinese law and international business law. Katharina carried out her legal training in Bonn, Cologne and New York. She spent time working at the German Embassy, Manila, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, major international law firms, and the German-American Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Luther, she worked inter alia as a lecturer at the Da-Yeh University in Taiwan and as Deputy Managing Director of the German-Chinese Business Association. She speaks German, English and Chinese and regularly publishes on international and Chinese law as well as mass litigation, legal tech and digitalization of civil procedure law. Katharina Klenk-Wernitzki joined Luther in 2014. Since 2017, she has been a member of the nationwide Complex Disputes Team.
