Career

Duško advises clients on investments and financing deals in Croatia, with a special focus on the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors. He has headed the firm’s team in some of the largest acquisitions and restructuring projects in the Croatian market.

Duško is currently engaged, along with Edin Karakaš, on a corporate governance project for the EBRD aimed at improving corporate governance and disclosure practices of companies on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) and strengthening the monitoring practices of the ZSE.

Duško’s client base includes financial institutions and corporates. He is best known for his strong problem-solving skills and strategic approach.

Duško served as the Assistant Minister for Privatisation and Industry at the Government of the RoC from 2000-2002. He was directly responsible for the second phase of privatisation of the Croatian Telecom (HT) and played a significant part in the reforms of the regulatory framework of the financial services, energy and telecommunications sectors.

This experience was useful in the recent high-profile debt restructuring project, where he advised on restructuring of the EUR 5.3 billion debt of the motorway and road sector companies and EUR 1.275 billion bond issuance.
