Managing Partner

Daniel Voicu is a managing partner of Voicu & Asociatii and one of the firm’s founders. He advises international and Romanian clients on a wide range of issues under Romanian law, including corporate, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, construction, contracts. Daniel Voicu is highly experienced in privatization, having acted for different foreign investors in all stages of privatization, including initiating, auction, negotiation and performance of contracts. His clients portfolio comprises multinational companies active in various industries like food & beverages, telecommunications, healthcare and pharma, tobacco, real estate development, chemicals, logistics, management consulting, tires, banking. Daniel Voicu founded the Firm in 2001 under the name of Voicu & Filipescu, by means of the acquisition together with Mugur Filipescu of the Romanian office of the international US based law firm of Arent Fox Kitner Plotkin & Kahn, PLLC, in which he had been a Senior Romanian Attorney for several years.
