Karolina is a senior associate and specializes in antitrust law. She has been advising companies and other market players for over 10 years.

Career

Karolina’s professional focus is consumer protection law (including reviews of general terms and conditions and contract templates, proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection concerning violation of collective consumer interests) and competition law (advice on merger notifications and securing antitrust clearance for concentrations, competition-inhibiting practices – especially abuse of dominant market position by enterprises).

Her experience has afforded her a thorough knowledge of real estate law. Karolina analyses the legal status of properties, advises on construction law aspects of residential developments and road infrastructure projects, and drafts documents in administrative litigation – also with regard to cases disputed in the context of what is known as the Warsaw Decree, a unique sub-category of Polish property law rooted in wholesale nationalisation of large tracts of land in the Polish capital in the aftermath of World War II.
