Shiri Shani is a partner at Gornitzky & Co. 

Shiri’s practice encompasses all facets of commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on project development. Shiri acts on behalf of buyers and sellers of investment property, landowners and developers across a wide range of sectors.

Shiri advises property investors and developers, as well as major corporations, and has extensive transactional experience involving the purchase, development and disposition of real estate assets in large-scale complex projects.

Shiri assists clients throughout all stages of property development projects, from the due diligence through the final completion. In addition, Shiri has been involved in the sale and acquisition of substantial commercial buildings, shopping centers and income producing assets.

A major part of Shiri’s legal practice is her experience in the hotel industry. In this capacity, Shiri represents both hotel owners and hotel management chains. Shiri assists major hotels in Israel and abroad with management and leasing agreements, and franchise transactions, as well as in the sale and purchase of hotels.

Shiri handles real estate aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions, whereby she represents banks in their financing of real estate for solar energy projects. In this context, Shiri performs due diligence on the properties, reviews property liends, obtains building permits and negotiates agreements with landowners.

Shiri has also been involved in reorganizations, multi-party business transactions and work vis-à-vis various Israeli authorities in real estate, property and tax matters.

In addition, Shiri is involved in real estate related tax issues, thus, providing full service to the firm’s real estate clients.
