Frederike Rijpkema deals with many different aspects of insurance law in her work as a lawyer. For example, she handles liability issues, disputes about cover, and professional liability cases for insurers.

Frederike always comes very well prepared: she prefers to check everything multiple times rather than leave anything to chance. Her clients can be sure that Frederike will know every last detail of their case and have studied all possible angles.

Background

While at university, Frederike was employed as a working student by a law firm in Amsterdam. She also did an internship with the district court in Amsterdam. It was here that she discovered her interest in insurance and liability. She explored that area further in two more internships at law firms specialised in insurance law.

Frederike graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in law from Utrecht University in 2019. In 2020, Frederike completed her Master’s in private law at the University of Amsterdam, gaining a distinction. During her time at university, Frederike was on the committee of the private-law study association Bona Fide. She also worked as a volunteer at a legal advice centre.
