Career

Miguel García Stuyck joined our corporate practice in 2019 and is the partner heading the M&A team.

Miguel has extensive experience in advising on private equity transactions as well as complex mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. He also has a strong track record in transactions within the infrastructure sector and involving listed securities. He focusses on international work and provides cultural and language bridges in international scenarios with an exceptional pragmatic and commercial approach, a combination which can only be delivered through transactional experience and knowledge of laws and regulations.

Miguel is dually qualified, as Spanish abogado and solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and of the Law Society in London. Miguel commenced his professional career in London, then moved back to Madrid where he was involved in most of the Spanish privatizations as a member of the legal team of the Spanish privatization agencies (SEPPa and SEPI). Afterwards consolidated his professional experience in the Madrid offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and  Hogan Lovells.
