Career
Sebastián is Of Counsel in the Civil Litigation Practice. He joined the firm in 2015 as a specialist in commercial law and legal proceedings before the civil courts.
Sebastián was Senior Judge (Magistrado) of the First Chamber of the Spanish Supreme Court, being selected for a fifth term of office (Quinto Turno) in recognition of his professional standing, from 2013 to 2015, when he retired as a judge.
Between 1985 and 2012 he was Executive Director of the Legal and Tax Department and Secretary of the Board of Directors of different companies of the current CaixaBank. Prior to this he was General Counsel of Banco de Europa (1973-1984) and member of the Legal Department of Banco Atlántico (1969-1973).

- Degree in Law from the Universidad de Barcelona, 1968 (Special Recognition Award for Degree and Prize for the second best academic achievement).

- Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) from the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE), 1970.
- Full Professor in Commercial Law of the Universidad de Barcelona (UB) by competitive examination in 1989.
