Career
Cristina Vidal is a Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado), currently on leave, an activity which she has performed, among other destinations, before the Spanish National High Court, the Central Contentious-Administrative Courts, as head of the coordination of the AECID project for the creation of the State Legal Service in Uruguay and as Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) in the Legal Assistance Agreement entered into with SEIASA del Sur y Este (State-Owned Agricultural Infrastructure Company).
In 2010, she was appointed Director of the Litigation and Disciplinary Department of the CNMV (Spanish Securities Market Commission), where she also occupied the office of 1st Vice-Secretary of the Board. In 2013, she once again took up her work as Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) in the Sub-Directorate General of the Litigation Service of the State Legal Service, which she combined with work as Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) – Coordinator of the Legal Assistance Agreement with the CNMC (Spanish Market and Competition Commission).
In her latest professional stage she formed part of Barclays Bank, where she held the office of Head of institutional and litigation legal advice.
Cristina Vidal has formed part of the Board of Examiners for entry as Government Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) and the Board of Examiners for entry as Notary Public, as Secretary and Member, respectively.
