Managing Partner

Selin Bayar is one of the senior partners and has extensive experience in a range of banking and finance, corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, privatizations, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and IPO transactions. Ms. Bayar regularly represents foreign companies and banks, private equity funds, and other investment funds and financial institutions in cross-border transactions, specifically in Turkey. She also has significant experience in project finance, capital markets and public offerings. Her industry expertise includes energy, banking and insurance, healthcare, telecommunications and media.

Advised numerous clients in M&A transactions including merger of Aviva Insurance with Aksigorta, BC Partners in its acquisition and merger of Migros shares, NBG in its acquisition of Finansbank shares, Alghanim and Saint Gobain in their acquisition of Izocam shares, St Martins in its acquisition of Cevahir Saglık Shopping Mall.

Advised many multinational clients in all corporate and commercial matters including GE, Michelin and Chevron.

Expert in privatization transactions, advised foreign and local clients in the privatizations of Turk Telekom, Telsim, Erdemir, TEKEL and Petkim and several other transactions.

Involved in many project finance, structured financed and securitization transactions and represented lenders including Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, ABN Amro, WestLB, Rabobank and a number of borrowers.
