Career
Szilvia Fehérvári is a Partner at Andersen in Hungary. She joined the firm in 1998. She primarily focuses on employment and energy law, as well as corporate and commercial law matters and is the legal advisor of Hungarian subsidiaries of several international companies. Her experience includes the management of due diligence reviews related to company acquisitions and the performance of corporate restructuring and/or company dissolution procedures.
In the field of energy law, she provides day-to-day advice to international electricity and gas trading companies and their Hungarian subsidiaries and represents them before the Hungarian Energy Authority in licensing and regulatory procedures. Her employment law experience includes equal treatment and GDPR compliance matters, general, executive and expat employment contracts, termination matters, advising on bonus, whistle-blower and anti-corruption policies, collective bargaining agreements, procedures in connection with the election of local and European work councils, workforce-hiring and outsourcing, as well as consultation and representation in connection with employment and data protection inspections. Szilvia also advises on pre- and post-merger processes, including the effects of employment law succession and collective redundancies. She has a considerable experience in employment law mediation and litigation.
Her recent experience includes:
Full process of acquisitions of small power stations and various energy trading licensees. Day-to-day employment law, corporate, commercial and energy law consultancy and advisory services for international energy trading companies and their Hungarian subsidiaries, elaborating a system of contracts relating to their activities and their representation before HEA in licensing procedures. Continuous employment law and advisory services for the Hungarian subsidiaries of a German agricultural manufacturing company, of an Italian fashion retail network, and a US-based multi-brand company.
