Dr Leisch has been advising national and international clients for many years on all issues relating to compliance and corporate governance.

In the area of compliance, his work focusses on the development of compliance management systems and internal control systems, the implementation of group-wide compliance risk assessments and the implementation of processes for the prevention of fraud, corruption and money laundering. Dr Leisch has also conducted numerous internal investigations for national and international clients in the areas of corruption, financial sanctions, fraud, money laundering and discrimination.

Dr Leisch's corporate law advice covers all corporate governance issues. He regularly advises management and supervisory boards on liability issues, the business judgement rule, the appointment and dismissal of board members, the drafting of articles of association and rules of procedure, issues at the interface of corporate law and employee participation under the German One-Third Participation Act and the German Co-Determination Act, as well as capital market law issues such as insider trading, shareholding transparency and market manipulation.

He advises clients from numerous industries and regularly advises clients from the banking and financial services, real estate, healthcare, automotive, consumer goods and retail sectors.

Since 2009: Lecturer at the University of Augsburg on compliance and lecturer at the Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Continuing Education (ZWW) at the University of Augsburg (certificate courses: Compliance Officer (Univ.), Investment Management)

2007 - 2020: Lawyer, partner in an international law firm since 2012
