HEUSSEN again among the top law firms for public procurement law

WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo) has once again searched for the top law firms in Germany for public procurement law. And as in the previous selection processes in 2014, 2018 and 2019, HEUSSEN's public procurement law practice and partner Uwe-Carsten Völlink are also among the best this year.

For the list of the top law firms and lawyers for public procurement law 2021, the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed more than 1,100 lawyers from 124 law firms about the most renowned colleagues in their eyes. The selection was then presented to a jury of experts, who filtered out the list of 50 law firms and 68 highly recommended lawyers from the nominees.

Public procurement law has been a high priority at HEUSSEN for years. A team of five partners at the offices in Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt/Main as well as other experienced lawyers advise public clients and companies in national and EU-wide procurement procedures and represent them in review proceedings and damages litigation. One focus is on the Defence & Security sector, where, for example, leading corporations are advised on public procurement law projects. In the public sector, the firm advises universities, research institutions, federal states, cities and municipalities as well as their holding companies. The interface competence with construction law and IT law is also highly valued in the market. The procurement law department is listed in the relevant handbooks such as Juve and Legal500. Uwe Carsten Völlink has also been ranked among the best in his profession by Best Lawyers / Handelsblatt for many years and has already been awarded "Lawyer of the Year" there.
