Career

Marc Mossé brings to the firm's clients expertise drawn from his dual experience in both the legal profession and the corporate world, along with extensive knowledge in compliance, the digital economy, regulatory issues, and European law.

From 2019 to 2022, he chaired the French Association of In-house Lawyers (AFJE).

He was Director of Legal and Government Affairs at Microsoft Europe for six years from 2016 to 2022 and Secretary General of Microsoft France for ten years from 2006 to 2016. Prior to that, he was Director of Public and Regulatory Affairs at Philip Morris France.

At the start of his legal career, he practiced in the Public and Regulatory department of our firm, following his role as Parliamentary Advisor to Senator Robert Badinter and his experience as an associate lawyer at the Conseil d'État and the Cour de cassation. He also previously served as the 2nd Secretary of the “Conférence des Avocats aux Conseils”.

He is an Associate Professor at Aix-Marseille University where he teaches compliance law (CRSD), digital platform regulation, and privacy and cybersecurity law within the Institute of Business Law. Additionally, he is a member of the Copyright Council (Conseil Supérieur de la Propriété Littéraire et Artistique (CSPLA)).
