Career

Pierre Pérot advises French and international clients on all strategic issues related to intellectual property. He possesses extensive expertise in trademark, design, copyright, and neighboring rights law. With solid experience in intellectual property and unfair competition litigation, Pierre skillfully handles both national and multi-jurisdictional disputes, as well as proceedings before French and European IP offices.

The complementarity of his expertise with the firm’s various departments enables him to tackle high-stakes, cross-disciplinary challenges, including issues related to artificial intelligence and ambush marketing.

Pierre is an active contributor to the intellectual property field, regularly publishing articles in specialized journals and speaking at conferences related to his practice. He also provides training in trademark and copyright law to clients and students pursuing studies in intellectual property. In addition, he has served as a lecturer at the University of Panthéon-Assas.

Pierre’s career began with various internships at prestigious French law firms, including Advant Altana and Gide, as well as within the IP department of Orano (formerly Areva). He later joined the European IP law firm Hoyng ROKH Monégier as a lawyer, before bringing his expertise to August Debouzy in 2022.
