Philippe Lorentz joined August Debouzy in September 2005 as a Partner in charge of the Tax group.

He worked in the tax department of the French Atomic Agency (CEA) and of Areva Group before joining PwC in 1996 (Coopers & Lybrand law firm became PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998) and being promoted to partner in 2002.

Over the past twenty years or so, Philippe Lorentz has advised and assisted French and foreign groups in carrying out and optimizing their investments. He focuses more specifically on mergers & acquisitions and advises major investment funds in connection with their acquisitions and restructuring transactions. He also assists multiple companies with their negotiations with the French tax authorities, as well as with their tax litigation and audits.
