Shahira Khaled is a Partner at Al Kamel Law Firm and a member of the Egyptian Bar Association who studied at the English Department of the Faculty of Law, Cairo University and whose practice areas include Corporate Law and governance, Anti-trust and Competition, M&As and Project Finance. Shahira leads the Competition and Anti-trust team at Al Kamel. She has worked closely with significant domestic and multinational businesses in a variety of industries including Fintech, food and beverage, health care, pharmaceutical manufacturers, telecom, petrochemicals, glass manufacturers and construction.
Shahira was the former President for four consecutive years (2000-2004) of Best Buddies Egypt Schools Program and for two consecutive years (2007-2008) Universities Program, a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and contributed in drafting An Overview of Egyptian Tax Law and Practice in the publication Tax Law Client Strategies in the Middle East and Africa as well as several Doing Business Reports published by the World Bank and IFC.
Shahira was appointed in 2022 for a four year term on the global board of the World Services Group network and won the most influential female lawyer of the year 2022 by The Law Magazine.
