Majid Mohammed Al Shehhi is Senior Associate at Al Alawi & Co and has been with the firm since 2018 and newly appointed as Head of Litigation.

Majid Al Shehhi has broad-based commercial litigation experience and is focused on commercial litigation, criminal litigation, real estate litigation, contract law, labor and employment law, administrative law, Shari’a Law and estates.

Majid Al Shehhi is tasked with drafting memoranda and court submissions in various practice areas and is known for being meticulous in drafting and pleading before the Omani Courts. He also specializes in dispute resolution and enforcement/execution matters.

Majid Al Shehhi is a licensed appeal-stage lawyer in the Sultanate of Oman since November 2022.

Majid Al Shehhi also work in Corporate and Commercial specializes in cross-border investments, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligences and regulatory matters, where he is extremely active on the transactional front. General corporate/commercial advisory also forms a significant part of his practice, including, rendering legal advice and opinions on unique aspects of company law, corporate governance, anti-trust regulations, free zone rules and employment legislation. Attending AGM/EGM other transactional matters like closing companies and branches, closing corporate bank accounts and tax files.

Majid received his Bachelor of Laws from Sultan Qaboos University (Sultanate of Oman) in 2015 and holds a professional diploma in Professional Skills for International Lawyers from Nottingham Trent University (UK).
