Eyad joined LFSH office in Jeddah in 2012, and has extensive and significant contentious and non-contentious experience in commercial, corporate, construction, civil and labor law, as well as advocacy before all Saudi courts and other judicial committees.

Eyad has been involved in commercial transactions, particularly aircraft and maritime mortgages, enforcement of commercial papers dispute judgments, formation and liquidation of local and foreign companies and represented both local and foreign clients in various dispute resolutions concerning corporate and SAMA-related financial disputes.

He also advised many clients on various matters relating to bankruptcy law in Saudi Arabia.

Relevant Experience

ARAMCO Refinery: Advising ARAMCO in their Joint Venture with ExxonMobil, and preparing all the required documents to amend the articles of association of the company.

The Abraaj Group: Involved in advising in the acquisition of Kudu (in association with Freshfields) and finalizing all the required documents.

Saudia Cargo: Involved in advising in the privatization of Saudia Cargo, a subsidiary of Saudia Airlines (in association with Freshfields).

Ministry of Hajj: Involved in drafting new laws and regulations on various matters relating to both the Ministry of Hajj and the Ministry of Transportation and participating in discussions.

BAE Systems: Represented BAE in many cases relating to land disputes.

Saudi Fransi Capital: Involved in advising SFC relating to the establishing of a real estate company.

National Bank of Kuwait: Advising the bank on various matters relating to Bankruptcy Law in KSA.

Saudi Archirodon: A longstanding legal counsel to Archirodon in KSA, that includes advising on complex contractual issues that were technically challenging in the cities of Ras Al Khair, Yanbu, Jizan, Dammam and Riyadh

Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD): Involved in advising ICD in relation to its involvement as a major investor in the stalled Ewaan Alfareeda housing development project in Jeddah, KSA, including the examination of the execution history of the project, advising on and representing ICD before the Ministry of Housing, WAFI (the Off-Plan Sales Regulatory Committee) and other regulators and reviewing financial structure. This ongoing matter requires extensive investigation and due diligence.
