Ben is one of the senior lawyers of The Law Firm of Salah Al-Hejailan LLC and is based in our head office in Riyadh.
Ben is a British-qualified solicitor, having previously worked at the international law firm Eversheds Sutherland, as well as in-house at financial services and technology companies.
Ben’s experience includes:
Advising a private equity fund on multiple leveraged acquisitions of healthcare groups, subsequent merger of the acquisitions to and ultimate onward sale of the new group. Advising on the restructuring of private equity investment in a well-known brand, following a dispute with their existing investors. Managing and supporting ‘Due Dilligence’ processes in relation to mergers and acquisitions. Advising on regulatory compliance issues. Delivering a complete revision of the legal and operational structure of a business within one of its jurisdictions and managing cross-border impact with sister companies. Managing a tax dispute with the revenue agency over the application of VAT to particular services. Advising on labor law compliance in relation to self-employed contractors and workers. Preparation of standard terms documents and other pro-forma documents. Advising on funding agreements between an international bank and a development funder. Advising on development funding structures and arrangements.Languages
