Corporate, labor and taxes.

His specialty is in the corporate, labor and taxes, having participated in several complex processes in the aforementioned fields, both in advisory and litigation in these areas.

He initiated his career working in various law firms, before eventually moving to the legal department in Banco de Prestamos S.A. Subsequently, he became part of the multinational firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Operating in the Legal and Tax Division, he went on to be the leader of the legal field in the city of Guayaquil. He then moved on to take the position of Legal Director in Compañía Cervecera Ambev Ecuador S.A., (presently known as Cervecería Nacional S.A., which forms part of the AmBev – InBev Group). He was a Partner of the Legal Firm Méndez – Córdova with offices in Guayaquil and Quito for several years, becoming external advisor and Judicial Solicitor of various domestic and foreign companies with investments in Ecuador. Likewise, he advises several national and international companies in the various branches of law, especially in corporate, tax, labor, as well as both consultancy and litigation processes. He is currently a Partner of ECIJA GPA.

He obtained his degree as a Lawyer of the Courts in the Courts of the Republic of Ecuador at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil in 2001. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Constitutional Law from the University of Salamanca in Spain, as well as having completed several coursed in Ecuador and abroad.
