Career

Adv. Molho, one of the leading lawyers in Israel, specializes in many areas of practice - principally in business and corporate law, company rehabilitation and liquidation, telecommunications, copyright protection, intellectual property, and complex litigation.

Among the many important matters Adv. Molho has handled include his victory in the major landmark decision regarding copyright law in the Dead Sea Scrolls case, in respect of which Adv. Molho received broad academic and public acclaim in the field of copyright law, both in Israel and abroad.

Adv. Molho has a wealth of experience representing clients ranging from large corporations and institutions to individual businessmen, both local and foreign entities, and conducting complex commercial negotiations.

Over the last several years, Adv. Molho’s expertise in insolvency law has been most notable. Adv. Molho serves as Special Administrator of one of Israel’s largest real estate and construction groups – the Heftsiba Group – comprised of 26 companies, which is now involved in various liquidation proceedings, one of the greatest insolvency matters ever seen in the State of Israel.  In addition, Adv. Molho acted as Special Administrator of Karta Central Jerusalem Development Company Ltd., the first government-owned company to undergo liquidation proceedings. Previously, Adv. Molho acted as liquidator of the non-profit Or Hadash Association's building project in Ashdod, in which he devised a series of successful arrangements, whereby a large and multi-faceted building project (around 600 housing units) in the city of Ashdod was successfully rescued, and the unsecured creditors were able to receive payment in excess of 60% of their debts.

Adv. Molho published several legal articles on telecommunications and computer law. Among his publications are "Panel Discussion, Erwin Shimron Memorial International Symposium, on Computer Law, Israel Law Review 23 (1986), 21 Publications" and "Legal Aspects of Satellite Broadcasting in Israel, Hapraklit 40 (1992) 287" (along with his Partner, Adv. Dov Abramowitz). In past years, Adv. Molho, together with his Partner, Adv. Orrin Persky, published an article on stock purchase warrants and their effect on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In 2008, the Israeli Bar (Tel Aviv District) magazine named Adv. Molho as its "Lawyer of the Year".

Among Adv. Molho’s many activities outside of the firm, he serves in various public capacities, including as Chairman of the Board of the Israel Museum, as Honorary Consul-General of Austria in Jerusalem, and as a member of the Board of the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute.

During Benjamin Netanyahu's first period as Prime Minister (1996-1999), Adv. Molho – at the request of the Prime Minister – voluntarily fulfilled various special assignments on his behalf. These included acting as the Prime Minister’s personal envoy and as chief negotiator on behalf of the Government of Israel to the leadership of the Palestinian Authority and its former Chairman, Yasser Arafat, under the auspices of the United States, which led to the execution of the “Hebron Agreement” and the “Wye Agreement”.
